Sonic Unleashed

Enough with the comic. this is not Urinary problems thread.
I love the gameplay. But the story isn't that dark. Sure it involves the world splitting, and an evil force called gaia, and a werehog, but I think it's cool. When you fight it (which I presume you do) you'd feel a lot better pummeling a giant creature at lightspeed than another giant robot that robotnik fails at. Just seems cooler to me
But hey Sonic can't just be chasing after Robotnik the whole time. Games grow up, and Sonic's grown up from a happy-go-lucky hedgehog into a proper character with a proper personality. The story is fine to me.

For anyone who has this game, can i say. Its good. BUT FRUSTRATING AS HELL!

The werehog levels always take me ages and seem to go on forever, and then you get to liek the final bits, and with onle a life to spare, and then the camera angle or controls will crap out on you.
E.g on Holoska, im on the werehog level where there is falling ice and you grap on and jmp from one to another, everytime you move from side to side with the d-pad you always done go the way you want and die. It annoys me so much >.<

However the runnins stages are great. There beautifully desgined and in general great fun. Id like to see a sonic game which is like that, and has no new plot to try and interest the casual gamer, give the hardcore fans a retro memory!?

What I want to see is the megadrive games Unleashe-ified.

Imagine the green hill zone but MEGA FAST, 3D AND B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!!!

That it would, but sega are *naughty word to descirbe a women who sells her body for money* the casual gaming audience. I'd like to see them actually think about the hardcore fans and give them something retro and beautiful to drool over.

It'd be every Genesis game unleashiefied, and if people want a platformer (werehog-esque) give knuckles a cool platformer.

Knuckles hasnt really got a background story, they never bothered to develop his character because they made a cash cow with shadow the hedgehog.
He would suit a fast platformer, maybe he deserves a hack and slash? Lol, a bit like the werewolf stages in Sonic Unleashed.
I havent finished Sonic Unleashed, but is Knuckles even in that? Atall? Like maybe a characers who get a few line like amy does?

knuckles was important to the storyline a long time ago. remember he used to guard the chaos emerald.

Yeah, but they sorta dropped that whole idea and plot, and made it so the chaos emeralds follow sonic around ready to give him Powerade to make super awesome.

Knuckles is explored, just not in videogames.
They make a sonic the comic thing ( I saw one in Wal-Mart) and they do explore Knuckles' history, like how his clan died out and a great war for the master emerald or something.

Just normal rare. Not many shops stock them... It's kinda understandable I suppose. If you like I could scan my copy (Yes! We have a scanner/printer!) of an issue and you guys could read it.

Hmm, this isnt really related to unleashed but Sonic and the black knight came out recently.
